THE highlight of next weekend's Limerick District League junior soccer action is the Munster Junior Cup semi-final when Aisling Annacotty take on Clare's Newmarket Celtic in Jackman Park.
Both teams come into the tie on the back of huge wins in the FAI Junior Cup last weekend.
Aisling put 10 past Patrickswell while the Clare lads hit Shountrade for 13.
Aisling lost Conor Coughlan in their quarter-final win against Bridge United and he will prove a major loss but Sean Oyibo scored four times last weekend to stake a good claim for the spot.

Celtic beat Waterford’s Hibernians on penalties to reach the last four. They are a side packed with representative players but Declan Farmer has assembled a young squad who will have no fear going into the tie.
Hopefully Aisling can pick up local support for a 7pm kick off in Jackman Park on Saturday.
On Sunday, in the LDL Premier League, leaders Fairview Rangers will be keen to maintain their one-point lead when they host Nenagh A.
The Blues have found the Tipperary side a sticky task this season and needed spot kicks to see them off.
Fairview won impressively at Regional on Saturday and with Lee J Lynch added to an already strong panel, it would be hard to back against them in any game at the moment.
Hoping the leaders slip up are Ballynanty Rovers who travel across town to meet Regional United. Balla eked out a 2-0 win against Shelbourne last weekend and will look to build on their second half display. They know that any slip ups from here in, could prove fatal in the title race.
At the other end of the table, games are running out for Corbally United and they need to get some points on board quickly. They host a resurgent Geraldines XI and any points gained against them will be hard earned.
On a positive note, Corbally showed good mettle last weekend to see off Hyde Rangers in extra time to progress in the FAI.
The final game in the top flight sees Athlunkard Villa welcome Mungret Regional to Lee Estate looking to recover from last weekend’s 4-0 defeat to ‘Boro.
Mungret had a 4-2 win over Caherdavin in the FAI Junior Cup and manager Paul Danaher will be looking to keep a winning run going.
Kilmallock Utd A and Moyross are chasing leaders Star Rovers in the Premier A League promotion race. On Sunday they play Carew Limerick Utd and Prospect Priory A respectively while Newport have not given up the ghost and they will be expected to win at Southend.
The Division 1A promotion battle continues apace with three sides battling it out for the two spots on offer.
Leaders Herbertstown A visit Corbally Utd B having beaten them 8-0 in the cup last weekend.
Shelbourne played well in defeat to Balla A last weekend and they host Aisling Annacotty D while Murroe, fresh from reaching the Munster Shield Final must return their focus to local matters when they host Cappamore.
In Division 1B, Pike Rovers can close the gap on leaders Balla B to five points with two games in hand, If they can take full points at home to Kilmallock United B while in Division 2A Hyde Rangers can take another step to the title if they win at Castle Rovers.
The winners of Knockainey v Northside Legacy and Moyross United C v Lough Derg B will be in the semi-finals of the Power Cup while Balla B will be looking to bounce right back after last week’s MFA disappointment when they visit Castle United in round one.
In the 2B REA Cup, Holycross B host Summerville Rovers B.
