PIKE ROVERS got the better of Ballynanty Rovers in what was an enthralling encounter last weekend in the Munster Junior Cup.
Pike Rovers raced into an early two-goal lead before Ballynanty brought themselves back into the game with strikes from Kevin Laffan and an injury time equaliser from AJ Moloney.
Penalties were needed to seperate the sides and it was Pike Rovers who ran out 4-2 winners on spot kicks.
