Chloe Kenna with the Football For All Player of the Year award during the 34th FAI International Awards at the Aviva Stadium on Thursday
LIMERICK-BASED Chloe Kenna was among the award winners at the 34th FAI International Awards at the Aviva Stadium this week.
Chloe Kenna, who plays with the Moyross United Ladies, won the 2023 FFA International Player of the Year.
Chloe was a key player on the Irish team which had a best ever fourth place finish at the 2023 Homeless World Cup in Sacramento, USA.
Kenna was one of two Limerick-based winners at the prestigious awards, with Madison McGuane, of Ardscoil Mhuire, Corbally, and Treaty United, winning the Under-15 Girls’ FAI Schools International Player of the Year accolade.
The Awards event took place ahead of Thursday's UEFA Nations League game between Ireland and Finland with the winners selected from performances taken into account are from June 2023 to June 2024.
A jury from Soccer Writers' Ireland helped with the selection of certain categories to help honour those who excelled over the previous year.
