The GAA are considering playing the 2027 league final in the TUS Gaelic Grounds

REPORTS are emerging this Wednesday morning that the GAA are considering plans to play the 2027 Allianz Hurling League final at the TUS Gaelic Grounds ahead of September's Ryder Cup in Adare Manor.
Such a move would mean changing the game from its current April slot in the calendar and moving it five months later to coincide with the golf match which is set to see tens of thousands of tourists descend on the Co Limerick village.
The Irish Examiner are reporting that counties are to be consulted on the possibility of moving the game two months past the All-Ireland final.
The Ryder Cup between Europe and the USA takes place between September 17-19 next year.
A crowd of over 40,000 attended this year's Allianz Hurling League final, where Limerick defeated Cork on Easter Sunday at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
