Gaelscoil an Ráithín were crowned Limerick Leader Cup champions on Wedensday afternoon in the Staker Wallace GAA club. Eanna Hehir lifted the Limerick Leader Cup for the city based school.
Gaelscoil an Ráithín defeated Lisnagry national school in the Limerick Leader Cup final 0-7 to 1-3. The sides met in the final after both sides won their respective semi-finals.

The Raheen school narrowly defeated Scoil Mocheallog 0-4 to 0-3 in their semi-final, while Lisnagry got the better of Ballingarry national school 2-10 to 0-8 in the other semi-final.
All four schools competed in the Limerick Leader Cup semi-finals after winning their divisions in Limerick. Gaelscoil an Ráithín won the city title, Lisnagry national school won the east title, Ballingarry national school won the west title and Scoil Mocheallog won the south title.
