TWO Limerick hurling stars have been nominated for GAA.ie hurler of the week award. Cian Lynch and Shane O'Brien have both been nominated for this week's award.
Lynch was awarded man of the match for his performance in Walsh Park last Saturday evening. The Limerick captain finished with 0-3 in his side's six point victory over Waterford.
Shane O'Brien continued his impressive start to this year's Munster Senior Hurling Championship. O'Brien scored 1-4 against Tipperary in round one and the Mary Immaculate College student followed that up with 0-4 from play at the weekend.

Waterford wing back Mark Fitzgerald has also been nominated for GAA.ie hurler of the week award.

Voting will close at 10am on Wednesday, May 7, and the winner will be announced on GAA.ie.
