Cian Lynch turned in a Man of the Match display in their Munster SHC win over Waterford at Walsh Park on Saturday
MAN of the Match Cian Lynch has stressed the importance of enjoying every training session and game for Limerick.
The hugely influential Lynch scored three points from play in Limerick's impressive 0-28 to 0-22 Munster senior hurling championship round robin victory over Waterford in front of an official attendance of 12,101 on Saturday evening.
The second round win leaves Limerick on three points from a possible four ahead of their mouth-watering Sunday, May 18 showdown with old rivals Cork at the TÚS Gaelic Grounds, 4pm.

Patrickswell clubman Lynch was awarded the Man of the Match accolade by GAA+ following Saturday's win over the Déise.
Afterwards Lynch said: “It is so competitive, like. Every game you are playing, there is nothing between the teams, you see that, you see that over the last number of years as well. It is neck and neck, every game goes down to the wire.

"I suppose for us it is taking it week by week, taking it session by session, game by game and try to better yourself as individuals so you can impact the group and that is what we are trying to do.
“You have a lot of young fellas pushing on and pushing us as a group as well so the main thing is to try and enjoy every bit of it. We are not around for a lifetime so we are trying to enjoy every game we are playing, every session we have together as a group, make as many memories as you can.
“We knew coming down here, Waterford, great team, absolutely flying it, they got off with a great win in their initial game (v Clare) so for us just to come down here, get a victory and be able to go away with the two points, obviously great for the Limerick people who came down to support us too, it is not an easy journey. Massive credit to Waterford, it was some battle out there."
