THE MUNSTER Senior Hurling Championship gets underway this weekend, with anticipation building for what is expected to be a thrilling and fiercely contested campaign. 

THE Limerick senior hurlers begin their quest for an unprecedented seventh Munster hurling title in a row this weekend.

Where and when is it on?

Limerick begin their Munster Senior Hurling Championship campaign on Sunday at 4pm against Tipperary in FBD Semple Stadium, Thurles. The game will be proceeded by the Munster senior camogie championship quarter-final between Limerick and Tipperary at 2pm. 

All-Ireland champions Clare host Cork in Ennis at 2pm in the other game in the Munster SHC on Sunday. 

Where can I watch the game?

Tipperary and Limerick will be live on GAA+ with the coverage getting underway at 3:15pm. 

On Sunday evening, supporters can view highlights from the action in FBD Semple Stadium on The Sunday Game on RTE2 at 9:30pm. 

Where can I buy Tickets?

Tickets are available to buy on Ticketmaster, and  in selected Centra and Supervalu stores. Between 30,000 and 35,000 supporters are expected to attend the Munster SHC opener in Thurles on Sunday.
