CLARE have announced their starting XV for this Sunday's Allianz Hurling League round five clash with Limerick. Brian Lohan has named an unchanged starting XV from the side that were defeated to Wexford last weekend.
The Banner county are yet to register a win in the Allianz Hurling League. Clare's starting XV contains nine of the team that started in last year's All-Ireland final.
The All-Ireland champions will need maximum points in their final three games against Limerick, Cork and Tipperary if they are to avoid relegation.
Conor Cleary, Diarmuid Ryan, David McInerney and Peter Duggan are all currently sidelined with injuries. Hurler of the year Shane O'Donnell will miss the 2025 season as the Clare attacker requires shoulder surgery.
Clare have suffered defeats to Kilkenny, Galway and Wexford in the Allianz Hurling League.
