KILDIMO-Pallaskenry will aim to book their place in this year's All-Ireland Junior 'B' club hurling final on Saturday afternoon. The Limerick champions face Kilrush Askamore of Wexford in the All-Ireland semi-final on Saturday at 2pm in Raheenagh.
Killeedy GAA club are hosts of the Leinster, Munster and All-Ireland Junior B Hurling Championships. Kildimo-Pallaksnery are aiming to follow in footsteps of Monaleen who lifted the All-Ireland Junior 'B' title last year.
Brendan O'Shea's charges narrowly defeated Cappawhite in the Munster final. Rodger Ryan, Aaron O'Donovan and Cathal Downes combined impressively in their side's victory over Cappawhite scoring 3-8 between them. Downes was previously part of the Limerick senior football panel up until this year.
The Munster champions defeated Tulla in the provincial semi-final, while the city based club received a walkover against the Kerry champions in the Munster quarter-final. At the start of November, Kildimo-Pallaskenry were crowned Limerick Junior 'B' champions when they got the better of Ballybrown.
Kilrush Askamore were defeated by Three Castles in the Leinster final two weeks ago. Meanwhile, Kilkenny champions Three Castles face Cappawhite in the other All-Ireland semi-final on Saturday afternoon at 4pm
The Junior 'B' All-Ireland final is fixed for next weekend on Saturday March 1.
