THREE members of the Limerick senior hurling squad have impressed in a Ryder Cup challenge to determine which sports team has the longest combined drive.
Gearoid Hegarty, Declan Hannon and Barry Nash participated in the Titans of the Tee challenge at Adare Manor, venue for the 2027 Ryder Cup.
In Titans of the Tee, each players gets two attempts on a golf simulator to hit their longest drive at the 9th hole at Adare Manor. The best efforts are combined to give an overall score.

The Limerick hurling stars were the second high profile team to take on the challenge. Team McLaren Racing - featuring Formula One Driver Lando Norris, Neom McLaren Formula E Driver Sam Bird and McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown - were the first to take on the Titans of the Tee Simulator.
