LIMERICK natives Brian Ryan and Charlie McCarthy are one victory away from All-Ireland club hurling success with their adopted club in Dublin.

On Sunday, Na Fianna booked their place in the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship Final with victory over Galway's Loughrea in FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles.

The Dublin and Leinster champions will now play Cork's Sarsfield in the Croke Park decider in January.

Former South Liberties man Brian Ryan is a 2020 All-Ireland SHC winner with John Kiely's Limerick. Ryan has had an impressive campaign for the Glasnevin side, who are managed by 2025 Dublin senior hurling manager, Niall Ó Ceallacháin.

As he has done throughout their run to the national final, Ryan chipped in with a point from play in Sundays' semi-final victory.

Former Adare clubman McCarthy is a member of the extended Na Fianna panel. A Harty Cup winner with Ardscoil Ris, McCarthy has enjoyed Limerick Senior Football Championship success with Adare in recent times before his move to Dublin.
