FORMER Limerick hurler Brian Ryan impressed in Na Fianna's victory over Ballyboden St Enda's in the Dublin SHC quarter-final.

Brian Ryan chipped in with 0-2 from midfield and the Limerick man was awarded TG4 man of match for his display in yesterday's Dublin SHC clash.

Ryan transferred from South Liberties to Na Fianna in 2023. Na Fianna won the Dublin SHC title last year and the North Dublin club went all the way to the Leinster final last year. O'Loughlin Gaels narrowly defeated Na Fianna in the Leinster SHC decider last year.

Ryan was previously part of the Limerick senior hurling panel where he received gametime during the National League campaigns in 2020 and 2021. In 2020, Brian Ryan was part of the extended Limerick senior hurling panel that went onto to win the All-Ireland title.

Brian's father Brian has been manager of the Univeristy of Limerick Fitzgibbon Cup team in recent seasons.
