NA Piarsaigh, Doon, Adare and Monaleen all recorded victories in round four of the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship, while South Liberties and Kildimo Pallaskenry played out a draw. .

1. Na Piarsaigh and Doon advance to Limerick SHC semi-finals

Na Piarsaigh and Doon have both advanced to the Limerick SHC semi-finals. Doon remain unbeaten in this year's Championship, Derek McGrath's side have made it four wins out of four. The East Limerick side look like real contenders to claim the Bon Secours Limerick Senior Hurling Championship title. Na Piarsaigh secured their place into the last four after Shane O'Neill's charges defeated Kilmallock by nine points on Friday evening. The reigning county champions are bidding to win three county titles in-a-row for the first time in their history this year.

2. The battle for the quarter finals in group one of the SHC

Patrickswell and Ahane face off this Friday at 6pm in Claughaun on Friday evening in round four of the Limerick SHC. A win for Patrickswell will guarantee their place into the quarter-finals of the Championship. Kilmallock's spot in the last six will also be confirmed if Patrickswell record a victory over Ahane this Friday. Ahane need to win this clash to keep their hopes alive of reaching the knockout stages.

3. Mungret St Paul's are relegated to group two

Mungret St Paul's have suffered four defeats in this year's Championship and those four defeats have seen the City club make the drop to group two of the SHC for 2025 season. Brian Barry's charges performed excellently in their opening two games against Kilmallock and Ahane but in the last two games Mungret St Paul's have been well beaten by Patrickswell and Ahane. Last year's group two winners should benefit from playing against the top teams this year.

4. Three teams remain in the promotion hunt in group two

Ballybrown, Monaleen and Kildimo Pallaskenry all remain in the hunt to make the jump up to group one of the SHC. It's a straight shootout between Monaleen and Kildimo Pallaskenry in the final group games and both sides will need Dromin Athlacca to defeat Ballybrown for either side to be promoted into group one of the SHC. It's simple for Ballybrown, a win will see the Clarina side play in group one in 2025.

5. Adare and South Liberties face off in mouthwatering relegation clash

Adare stunned group two leaders Ballybrown on Friday evening in Rathkeale, while South Liberties earned a hard fought draw against Kildimo Pallaskenry. Adare and South Liberties face off in round five of the SHC, Louis Mulqueen's side need a draw or victory to avoid relegation to the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship. Liberties need to record a victory over Adare to avoid relegation from the senior ranks.
