John Kiely is set to stay on as Limerick senior hurling manager.
FIVE-TIME All-Ireland winning manager John Kiely is set to stay on for another two years as Limerick boss with the Galbally man set to be ratified once again at a county board meeting on Tuesday.
The main topic on the agenda for the county board meeting with club delegates is the ratification of Kiely to stay as Limerick manager.
Kiely has been in the role since 2016 and has led Limerick to unprecedented success during his time in charge. His management team is once again set to contain Paul Kinnerk, Alan Cunningham, Aonghus O'Brien and Donal O'Grady as Limerick aim to become the first ever county to win five All-Ireland titles in a row.
Under Kiely, Limerick have won Liam MacCarthy Cup's in 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, five Munster titles and three league crowns.
Limerick will be putting their Munster and All-Ireland titles on the line with a mouthwatering opening tie with Clare in Ennis next April.
For now, focus is on the club championship scene with the large amounts of the 2023 Limerick panel currently taking part in their respective competitions. The players and management team are then set to embark on the team holiday in early November.
