HIGHLY-RATED young Rathkeale jockey Calum Hogan gave County Kilkenny trainer Eoin Griffin his third winner in five days as the 12/1 chance Good World took the two and a half-mile handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse on Tuesday.

The Good World Partnership-owned 10-year-old led early in the straight and came home a length and a half to the good over Philip Rothwell’s 11/1 shot Without Exception.

Donnacha O'Brien sent out his first winner since his breakthrough Breeders’ Cup success when the Chris Hayes-ridden Enthusiastically took the seven-furlong nursery handicap. Owned by the trainer’s sister Sarah, the 10/1 chance made most of the running under Shanagolden jockey Hayes and held Ray Cody’s Monvoe and Wesley Joyce by half a length.

Ridden by Ballingarry jockey Billy Lee for Willie McCreery, the three-year-old Lunigiana gained a deserved success in the opening five-furlong maiden at Dundalk on Friday evening.

Placed in the first three on eight of her 11 previous starts, she made the breakthrough at odds of 5/4 favourite when coming from a little off the pace to lead inside the final furlong and hold the sustained challenge of Andy Oliver’s 8/1 shot Woolridge by half a length.

Limerick trainer Laura Hourigan gave Wayne Hassett his first winner since being crowned champion apprentice when saddling Unterberg to take the 12-furlong apprentice handicap. A 4/1 chance, the Novum Racing Club-owned six-year-old readily defied joint top-weight when keeping on to beat Michael Rice’s front-running 66/1 chance My Vonnie by a length and a quarter. It was the winner’s fourth victory and his second of 2025.

Calum Hogan gained his second success of the week when partnering Eoin Seymour’s Tir Og to a comfortable victory in the two-mile novice hurdle at Naas on Sunday. In the colours of the Keepthehighballslow Syndicate, the 5/2 chance led at the final hurdle to beat Paul Fahey’s 3/1 shot Our Lucky Lady by three and three-parts of a length.
