A SOLD-out performance of Bread Not Profits due to take place in Limerick this Friday evening has been cancelled due to Storm Hannah.
One of the final performances of the sold-out play was due to take place this Friday evening at the old Cleeve’s factory on O'Callaghan Strand.
“The Bread Not Profits team are very sorry for the inconvenience for tonight’s audience but there is a great risk of flying and falling debris at Cleeves and so cancelling is the safest option for our cast, crew and audience,” the Lime Tree Theatre said in a statement.
“This is unfortunately the nature of site-specific work.”
“All those who purchased tickets will receive an automatic refund. Please contact box office on 061 953400, ext 1 for further information.”
“Please note that there will be no additional show.”
A Status Orange Weather alert remains in place in Limerick this Friday, with severe winds and gusts of up to 130km expected.
