UPDATE: Road reopens following collision on Limerick-Tipperary border

Road closed as gardai investigate collision on Limerick-Tipperary border

THE Birdhill/Newport Road (R504) has reopened at Newport GAA pitch after gardaí dealt with the aftermath of a collision.

It is believed a truck left the road at around 8am this Monday morning. No injuries have been reported at this time. The fire brigade wasn’t called to the scene of the accident. The road was closed so that debris could be safely removed.
