The Liam MacCarthy Cup will be among the special attractions at the opening of Abha Bhán parish park
THE Abha Bhán parish park and playground in Loughill will be opening this Sunday, April 7 at 1pm.
A number of special guests, including the Liam MacCarthy Cup, will be present for the opening.
Committee member Helen Ambrose said: “It promises to be a great day in the history of the parish. Lots of hard work, planning and organisation has gone into this project since it was first announced.”
“The playground is a testament to the dedication, competence and professionalism of the hard working committee, as well as the huge number of voluntary workers who came in dedicated there time throughout the past year,” said Helen.
“The number of benefactors who have come forward wishing to be associated with the playground is never ending. We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped to get this project off the ground and finished and over the line debt free,” she added.
