Students Amy Flanagan, age 9, Bridget Kerrigan, age 10 and Katie McNamara, age 10 are said to be delighted with the reaction to their performance according to teacher Órfhlaith Prendergast.

“They are absolutely thrilled,” Ms Prendergast said.

The students are incredibly talented, she added.

“We want to highlight Moyross for all these positive reasons. We just think they are great ambassadors for the parish.

“We’d often put up videos of the choir singing online and we’d never get that kind of a reaction.

"For the girls now, we’re hoping to get them into vocal training and voice coaching.

“We can’t believe it, we thought that it would slow down but the views are going up in their thousands.”

The video has amassed 213,000 views since it was posted on Facebook.
