STEP into Spring with style with the Salesian Primary School, as it hosts its inaugural fashion show next month, to raise funds to refit a vital ‘all-purpose’ room.

The school is to host its first ever professional fashion show, in partnership with the Holman Lee Agency,  at the Strand Hotel, Limerick City, at 7.30 pm on February 22.

The aim of the event is to raise funds to refit the primary school with an all-purpose room that it is losing as a result of the recent sale of the Fernbank Convent and Salesian Secondary school site next door.

“This is really going to be an event not to miss,” principal of the school Deirdre Cusack said.

“We have an amazing parent community at our school and we rely on their support to raise much needed funds for many of the extra-curricular programmes that our children benefit from,” she added.

The fashion show, which will be compèred by Celia Holman Lee, will showcase both men’s and women’s fashion and accessories from over 12 local Limerick  stores.

Chairperson of the Fashion Show Committee Emma Collins said attendees are in for a treat on the night while they support the school.

“With a prosecco reception to start, discounts for various stores available to attendees and raffle prizes, the evening will not disappoint.” Tickets cost €20 and are available in Centra, O’Connell Street or by emailing salesiantickets@gmail.com.
