GARDAI have issued an appeal for information on a man missing from Limerick for a number of days.

The garda appeal for information about the whereabouts of 44-year-old William Tiernan, who was last seen at 1.20am on Tuesday, December 12, follows an earlier appeal from the Tipperary’s man’s friends and colleagues on social media.

Gardai said: “William is 5'8" in height and of slight build. He has blue eyes and brown hair. When he was last seen he was wearing jeans and navy and cream jumper.

“William was last seen on Denmark Street, Limerick city on the 12th of December at 1.20am,” they said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Henry Street Garda Station on 061-212400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666111 or any garda station.
