Fine Wines, Corbally: Gardai are investigating a robbery in which staff were threatened
GARDAI in Limerick are appealing for information after a robbery at an off-licence in which staff were threatened with a weapon.
Last Saturday evening, December 9, at 6pm, two males entered Fine Wines in Corbally, threatening staff with a wheel brace.
The assailants forced a staff member to open the till and made off with cash.
“This Fine Wines is situated in a busy area. There’s a chemist, a hairdresser’s, a butcher’s and a garage next to it,” explained divisional crime prevention officer Ber Leetch.
Gardai are hoping that somebody was walking or driving by, and perhaps noticed something unusual.
Mayorstone gardai are investigating and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them on 061-456980.
