The crash is causing traffic disruption in the area

A COLLISION on the M20 from Cork to Limerick that caused traffic disruption in the city has largely been cleared.

According to AA Roadwatch, the collision was at Junction 3 near Raheen on the M20.

“Traffic is slow as a result coming onto the motorway from Ballycummin,” the traffic service reported on Twitter this Wednesday morning.

However, the crash was quickly cleared and traffic largely returned to normal.

The organisation is also advising motorists to travel with care today, due to adverse weather.

“Drive with care today as sleet and hail showers expected. These impact visibility so slow down and leave extra time for your journey,” it tweeted.

Gardai had also issued warnings on Tuesday evening that road users should take extra care and for drivers to always drive at a speed appropriate to the conditions.
