Fire service tackle house fire in Limerick city

EMERGENCY services attended an incident at Quinlan Street in Limerick city, after being alerted to a fire that started in a bedroom within an apartment building. 

Limerick City Fire and Rescue was notified of the fire at the apartment, near O'Connell Avenue, at 10.28am this Wednesday morning, with a number of applicances attending the scene to tackle the blaze. 

Paramedics were also at the scene for a time, which was cordoned off.
