Farmer hospitalised after County Limerick incident

The incident is believed to have happened yesterday (December 2, 2025)

A FARMER is in hospital with serious injuries following a fall from a building on a farm in County Limerick yesterday (December 2, 2025) afternoon. 

The man is believed to have been doing work on his own farm at the time.

Emergency services got the distress call at 12.54pm yesterday afternoon. Four units of the fire brigade attended the scene, two from Limerick City fire services and two from the county. 

The father in his 50's was taken from the scene by air ambulance and brought to Cork University Hospital.
