A LIMERICK player scooped the €5,501,086 million jackpot in last night’s main Lotto draw - Wednesday, September 25.

The Limerick winner becomes the seventh Lotto Jackpot winner of 2024, joining the ranks of six other big winners from across the country, including Dublin (4), Louth, and another Limerick victor earlier this year. This latest win also makes the Limerick player the 26th National Lottery millionaire of 2024.

The winning numbers in last night’s main Lotto draw were: 1, 7, 17, 20, 22, 31 and the bonus was 35.

The National Lottery has confirmed that the store location where the winning ticket was purchased in Limerick will be announced on Friday.

National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Ruane said: "What an incredible night for Limerick and Galway players, with two life-changing wins. We now have a Limerick player who’s €5.5 million richer, claiming the title of the 26th National Lottery millionaire so far this year, and a Galway player securing a fantastic €250,000 prize.

"Tomorrow, we’ll announce which Limerick store sold the winning Lotto jackpot ticket, but for now, we’re urging all players in these counties to check their tickets carefully—one of them could be yours!"

The National Lottery is urging all Lotto players from Limerick and Galway who purchased tickets for Wednesday night’s Lotto and Lotto Plus 2 draws to check their them very carefully as they’ve both won very substantial prizes.
