The Libertines will play in the Milk Market on Wednesday, September 25
THE LIBERTINES will be performing one of their “once-seen-never-forgotten” live shows in Limerick this September.
As part of their UK and Ireland tour, the band will make the first stop in Limerick to play Live at the Big Top at the Milk Market, on September 25.
In April, The Libertines released their fourth album, All Quiet on the Eastern Esplanade. The album offers an ambitious collection of songs which sound more tamed in comparison to their previous titles - the calm after the storm, if you will.
The Libertines are made up of vocalist and guitarist Pete Doherty, vocalist and guitarist Carl Barât, bass player John Hassall and drummer Gary Powell.
The band released their first album, Up The Bracket in 2002, followed by the self-title album The Libertines in 2004, and Anthems For Doomed Youth in 2015.
The Libertines’ once-seen-never-forgotten live shows are here to save humanity from holograms, virtual reality, and AI auto-tuned bullsh**, so switch off your pocket-held marketing machine and come and experience raw analogue euphoria at the hands of these delirious musical chaos-mongers.
Speaking of the event, Mick Dolan said: “It’s a great privilege to invite one of the most influential bands of the last 25 years to the Milk Market. The Libertines are famous for their live performances, and it will be great to welcome the band to Limerick.”
