LIMERICK influencer Sinead O'Brien has shared the happy news that she has married partner Simon Fitzgerald.
The happy couple were married in a low-key ceremony this Friday, September 6 ahead of their "actual wedding" in Portugal on September 25.
Patrickswell native O'Brien took to social media this evening to confirm her marriage and to explain the reasons for the Irish ceremony.
"My DMs are flooded with love and well wishes. Thank you all so much," wrote the Vacious by Sinead founder.
"Lots of confused people too. So just to explain," she wrote.
"When you get married abroad there's a civil/legal ceremony that takes place here before we go (there's an option to do it abroad too but we did it here) so yes I'll be a married woman from today but our actual wedding which we will celebrate as our anniversary will be very much in Portugal Sep 25."
Sinead confirmed news of the wedding with a simple message to her 126,000 instagram followers: 'Just married' to accompany a picture of the couple's wedding rings.
Sinead wore a dress from The Little White Dress boutique in Limerick and had her make-up done by Aoife O'Connor.
