Crime spree in picturesque Limerick village

Three crimes were all committed on the same day

GARDAÍ are investigating three crimes that all happened on the same day in Adare. 

In the early hours of Sunday, May 5, a man and woman were captured on CCTV breaking into the Holy Trinity Church in Adare at 1.45am.

The man broke a window at the back of the church, climbed through and was inside for around five minutes, while the woman kept watch outside. 

On the same night, a restaurant on the main street in Adare was broken into and there was also a theft from a car. 

Anyone with any information or dashcam footage from passing through Adare between 1am and 2am is asked to contact Newcastle West garda station on 069 20650.
