LIMERICK City and County Council recently held a mayoral reception for Alliance Française Limerick and Loïc Guyon, Honorary Consul of France.
The reception was held in celebration of Alliance Française Limerick's 80th anniversary and in recognition of their promotion of the French language and culture in Limerick since 1944.
Loïc Guyon, Honorary Consul of France received the reception in appreciation and recognition of his contribution, as founder of the Limerick Wild Geese Festival launched in 2019 and as Initiator/Director of the Sarsfield Homecoming Project launched in 2020.
Both the festival and project have been facilitated by Alliance Française Limerick since 2023.
