REPRESENTATIVES of the National Transport Authority (NTA) are to be asked to appear before councillors over plans for a dial-a-ride bus service in Limerick.
Metropolitan district members have agreed to seek an update on the measure, which was raised at the time of the BusConnects strategy, which will change the layout of public transport in the city.
Areas not covered by BusConnects, like Mill Road and Rhebogue, could be given a demand-responsive bus service.
Labour councillor Conor Sheehan saw a motion passed seeking the NTA to appear at council.
