NFL AND Superbowl star George Kittle has called the Irish landscape from Dublin to Adare Manor “one of a kind”.

The San Fransisco 49ers Tight End will be a major part of this Sunday’s Superbowl LVIII where they take on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Speaking on Monday night at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas where Sunday’s Superbowl will take place, Kittle told NFL Ireland: “We were at the Adare Manor and that was awesome. I was disappointed, we were a week early to golf so I was pretty disappointed in that but I was just like, what an awesome place.”

“I got to go and walk that town [Adare], go through a couple of bars like what a fun experience, like very different. Like, just driving from Dublin to the Adare Manor, just seeing all the green it’s one of a kind. It’s really cool,” the NFL star said.

Kittle and his wife Claire travelled to Adare Manor along with members of the San Francisco 49ers team for the wedding of their teammate, Alex Mack in 2022.

Kittle who is 30 years old is widely considered to be one of the best tight ends in the NFL along with Kansas City Chief’s and popstar Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce.

The San Fransisco 49ers take on the Kansas City Chiefs in this year's Superbowl this Sunday from 11.30pm Irish time. The match can be viewed on Virgin Media Two or Sky Sports.
