A LIMERICK woman has won a dream trip to Las Vegas for five nights after winning a radio competition.
Kelly Gallagher from Newcastle West made it to the final round of the RTÉ 2FM competition on the Drive It with The Two Johnnies show.
The prize includes a five-night stay at a five-star hotel and tickets to see U2 at the Sphere, a music and entertainment venue and Kelly will also be saying hello to Adele as she bagged herself tickets to see the Britsh singer on a separate night.
Kelly was asked a tricky question before she went on air. She had to guess what the width of the Sphere, a music and entertainment venue in Las Vegas is.
The Newcastle West lady came out on top after guessing 516 feet, her opponent said 120 feet and Kelly came out on top, guessing 516 feet, guessing the correct answer.
Kelly erupted into cheers after it was announced she was the winner of the prize.
“Oh my God, I can’t believe this,” Kelly cheered.
Kelly said since the Sphere in Las Vegas opened she has been itching to see the venue.
