Limerick schools get thousands of books as part of novel golfing initiative

LOCAL schools in the Limerick and Clare area received 1,564 books following the 'Books for Birdies' initiative.

For every birdie recorded since June by Leona Maguire and subsequently every player at the 2023 KPMG Women’s Irish Open, one book has been donated by KPMG to the 20 chosen schools.
