Rugby legend to visit Limerick supermarket with Six Nations and Triple Crown trophies

The Guinness Six Nations trophy will be at the Aldi store in Castletroy this Monday

RETAILER ALDI is inviting rugby fans in Limerick to visit its store in Castletroy this Monday where the Guinness Six Nations and Triple Crown trophies will be on display.

Former Munster and Ireland player and current Ireland forwards Coach Paul O'Connell is also due to make a visit to the store during the event.

"Local rugby fans can drop by the store from 3pm to 4.30pm to get their photographs taken with the trophies and relive the excitement of Ireland’s historic Grand Slam victory," said a spokesperson for the retailer.

Customers who attend the free event and who post a photo of themselves with the trophy and tag ALDI on social media will be in with the chance of winning a €50 gift card.

This Monday's event is one of a number which will take place at ALDI stores across the country over the coming weeks.
