Well-known local auctioneer Pat Kearney, a member of the local rotary club says their annual event always proves popular among people.
"We find the public really look forward to it. It's a great opportunity, particularly for elderly people who might not bother going to a doctor when they should. They can walk into a church, say a prayer if they want to and get instant result on their blood pressure," he explained.
Advice can be given based on their results, he added.
The blood pressure clinic is open to everyone.
