IN AID of Milford Care Centre and Down Syndrome Limerick, the Limerick Central Rotary Club will stage their annual Don Reddan Charity Golf Classic once again. 

The event will be hosted on Friday, May 9 in Limerick Golf Club in Ballyclough, with players able to enjoy a meal and refreshments as well as lots of prizes for the winners on the day. 

Teams can register for a four-ball scramble at €300 per team, by contacting limerickcentralrotary@gmail.com. 

Limerick Central Rotary Club are also seeking corporate sponsorship of tee-boxes and greens at €100 each.

This year’s golf classic will also involve an exciting hole-in-one contest, with the incredible prize of a brand new BYD car, generously donated by Lyons Motor Group.

Ger Lynch, President of Limerick Central Rotary Club, commented: “We are delighted to host this year’s golf classic in aid of two charity partners, Milford Care Centre and Down Syndrome Limerick.

Both organisations provide vital support to many people in our community, and we are proud to partner with them on this event.

Rotary brings together a global network of volunteer leaders dedicated to tackling the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges. 

Limerick has multiple Rotary clubs, including the Rotary Club of Limerick Central, which meets on Fridays at 1-2pm at The Strand Hotel, and the Rotary Club of Limerick North Munster, which meets on Mondays at 1pm to 2pm at The Savoy Hotel. 

Connecting 1.4 million members of more than 46,000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas, their work improves lives at both the local and international levels, from helping those in need in their own communities to working toward a polio-free world.
