THIS Saturday sees the Limerick senior footballers head to Croke Park for the Division 4 Allianz Football League final.
Limerick face Wexford in the Division 4 decider on Saturday evening in Croke Park at 5pm. The game will be live on TG4 with coverage getting underway at 4:45pm.
Jimmy Lee's side earned promotion to Division 3 after a comprehensive 4-24 to 1-17 victory over Waterford on last Sunday afternoon in Mick Neville Park. St Senan's clubman James Naughton was on fire scoring 4-12 for the Shannonsiders.
Wexford defeated Limerick in round two of the Allianz Football League 0-17 to 0-13. Since that defeat, Lee's charges have won four games and earned a hard fought draw with Wicklow.. The Slaneysiders have been in impressive form winning all of their seven games in Division 4.
Limerick are bidding to win the Division 4 title for the first time since 2013.
