Ahead of Sunday's eagerly awaiting final, Limerick will be hoping to welcome back some of their established stars - Ahane brothers Dan and Tom Morrissey, Na Piarsaigh's Peter Casey and Doon's Darragh O'Donovan all missed the last outing against Galway due to injury. Rising star Matthew Fitzgerald of Monaleen was also absent but it is hoped that he could line-out for the Limerick U20s in their opening round championship tie on Friday evening.
John Kiely's Limerick have used 29 players in their five games to-date in the league. The Limerick team is expected to be namec on Friday night for the renewal of rivalries with Cork.
