The Limerick squad which scored an impressive victory over Offaly in Division 3 of the Lidl Ladies National Football League in Edenderry on Sunday
FIVE-STAR Limerick Ladies secured a precious 5-13 to 1-4 Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 3 victory over Offaly in Edenderry on Sunday afternoon.
A hat-trick of goals from Rebecca Delee proved hugely significant in this vital win for the Shannonsiders who had lost their two previous Division 3 fixtures this season.
Limerick led their hosts 1-6 to 0-2 at half-time and powered cleared in the second half, outscoring their opponents 4-9 to 1-2.
The Shannonsiders' remaining goals came courtesy of Roísín Ambrose and Georgia Keane.
Next up for Limerick is a trip to Carlow in two weeks' time for a Round 4 clash.
