St Ailbe's and Mungret St Paul's claim Limerick Ladies football titles

ST AILBE'S are celebrating success in the 3Dental Limerick Ladies senior football final.

St Ailbe's defeated Ballylanders 0-13 to 1-7 to claim the title at Cappamore on Sunday afternoon.

The winners had led the final 0-9 to 1-3 at half-time, despite falling behind to a an early goal and point from their opponents.

Meanwhile, Mungret St Pauls were crowned Limerick Intermediate Ladies football champions for 2024 after securing a nail-biting 0-10 to 0-9 victory over Knockainey in the opening game at Cappamore GAA Pitch on Sunday.

The sides had been level, 0-6 each, at half-time.
