Details confirmed for Limerick's Tailteann Cup quarter-final with Laois

Limerick manager Mark Fitzgerald will see his side play Laois in the Tailteann Cup quarter-final at the TUS Gaelic Grounds on Saturday. PICTURE: Sportsfile

LIMERICK'S Tailteann Cup quarter-final with Laois will take place on this Saturday afternoon at the TUS Gaelic Grounds the GAA have confirmed.

The game will have a 3pm start at the Ennis Road venue. There had been some thought that they fixture could be held on Sunday and form a double header with the Cork v Mayo Sam Maguire Cup clash but that is not the case.

Mark Fitzgerald's side topped group three of the Tailteann Cup after wins over Longford and Carlow, before their loss to Wicklow in their final game. Qualification for the last eight had already been secured at that stage.
