IN wet and challenging weather conditions Scoil Mhuire & Íde captured the U16.5 Limerick Ladies County ‘A’ title against Coláiste Íde agus Iosaef on a scoreline of 5-15 to 1-3 at The Bog Gardens in Rathkeale last week.
Within the first five minutes, Beanne Larkin set the tone for Scoil Mhuire & Íde by scoring the opening goaland soon followed it up with a brilliant point, putting her team ahead early. Coláiste Íde Agus Iosaef responded with a point, showing their resilience and determination to compete.
As the first-half progressed, Scoil Mhuire Agus Íde's forwards continued to display their scoringprofi ciency. Goals from Sarah Cagney, Grace Kelly, Isabelle O'Brien and Beanne Larkin extended their lead.
