LIMERICK have confirmed a 35-man panel for their upcoming Allianz Football League Division 3 campaign that begins on Sunday against Antrim at Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale.

Iain Corbett continues as captain of the team and Jimmy Lee has been boosted by the return of Danny Neville to the panel after exiting in 2021.

The Ballysteen sharpshooter was a key member of the Limerick panel before his departure and will add to the attacking options at Lee's disposal. However, Lee is without the services of Hugh Bourke who is not named on the panel.

County champions for the last three years, Newcastle West, have the most representation with nine players, while Adare have seven.

Lee has also been bolstered by the return in recent weeks of Tommie Childs who, like Neville, stepped away at the end of the 2021 season. Limerick's game has a 12.30pm start in Rathkeale on Sunday.
