Limerick confirm team for Munster Hurling League game with Clare

LIMERICK senior hurling manager John Kiely has named his starting lineup for tonight's Co-op Superstores Munster Hurling League fixture with Clare.

The Galbally man has named the same 15 players that were due to start in the postponed game with Cork with one change to the bench.

David McCarthy is again picked in goals behind a full back line of Emmet McEvoy, Dan Morrissey and Fergal O'Connor. It is McEvoy's first ever senior start for Limerick. Morrissey captains the side.

The half back line consists of Mark Quinlan, Ronan Connolly and Ciarán Barry with Barry Murphy and Colin Coughlan ahead of them in midfield.

Micheál Houlihan, Paddy O'Donovan and Cathal O'Neill are in the half forward line, while Donnacha Ó Dálaigh, Shane O'Brien and Adam English take up the full forward positions.

Joe Fitzgerald, David Fitzgerald, Luke Flynn, Ethan Hurley, Mike Keane, Darragh Langan and Liam Lynch hoping to make their first inter-county senior appearance from the bench

Tom Morrissey, Jamie Power, Aaron Costello and Oisin O'Reilly are the other players named on the Limerick bench. Morrissey comes in for Gearóid Hegarty on the bench for the game that has a 7pm start.
