IN PICTURES: Bumper crowd in Bruff for clash of Monaleen and Kildimo-Pallaskenry in Limerick SFC quarter-final

LARGE crowds flocked to Bruff on Sunday to see who would be booking their place in the semi-finals of the Limerick senior football championship.

Despite a late surge from Kildimo-Pallaskenry, it was Monaleen that secured their place in the Irish Wire Products Limerick senior football championship semi-final after a 1-13 to 0-14 success.

Monaleen will now face holders Newcastle West in the semi-finals which are due to take place on Saturday, October 21.

Photographer Brendan Gleeson was on hand to capture all the colour and excitement from Sunday's quarter-final for the Limerick Leader.
