LIMERICK’s Liam Cronin is chasing All-Ireland senior camogie glory with Cork this Sunday.
On Sunday (5pm) Cronin's Cork play Waterford in the Croke Park final.
Originally from Cappamore, the Cork coach is fast becoming a recognisable face in the inter-county coaching scene.
Cronin has seen it all over the last number of years from working with Clare senior hurling team to Cork camogie head coach in 2020 and then to Dublin senior hurling setup for a further two years before returning once again to the Cork camogie squad.
The Limerick man originally made his name in hurling through his involvement as a secondary school teacher in Árdscoil Rís, helping the school to multiple Harty Cup titles.
This season Cronin took over the mantle of Cork camogie head coach alongside manager Matthew Twomey after Davy Fitzgearld stepped away from the position. Davy stepped down as head coach after Cork’s one point loss to Kilkenny in the 2022 All-Ireland final.
The Rebels assisted by Limerick’s Liam Cronin will be hoping to regain the O’Duffy Cup for the first time since 2018.
Cork's opponents, Waterford, will also be hoping for a historic win as they play in their first All-Ireland final since 1945.
Sunday's final is live on RTE television.
