Limerick football team for Clare league game is confirmed

LIMERICK interim senior football manager Mark Fitzgerald has named his team for their final Allianz Football League Division 2 clash on Sunday.

The Kerryman has made six changes to this side for their trip to Clare. Limerick's six-point loss to Kildare confirmed relegation to Division 3 for 2024.

Donal O'Sullivan captains the side from goals and has a full back line of Jim Liston, Sean O'Dea and Brian Fanning. Cian Sheehan reverts to wing back from half forward and is joined in the half back line by Barry Coleman and Gordon Brown.

Colm McSweeney and Cillian Fahy are named in midfield, with Adrian Enright, James Naughton and Paul Maher in the half forward line. Robbie Bourke, Davy Lyons and Peter Nash are picked in an all-new full forward line. 

Limerick's game with Clare has a 2pm throw-in at Cusack Park in Ennis on Sunday.
