The search was carried out in a city centre location on Friday, May 24, 2024 and a man in his 40's and a woman in her 20's were both arrested and detained in a garda station in the Limerick area, under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Suspected heroin to the value of €1,900 and cash in excess of €630 were seized.
The man was released from custody pending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Operation Tara is part of a wider national anti-drugs strategy, which was launched by Garda Commissioner Drew Harris in 2021.
